Basic Cooling Load Calculation (Horse Power Needed)
Do you know that you can select how many horse power for your house?
Here we will show you the basic calculation of cooling load for you to choose how big is your air conditioning should be install in your house, room, bedroom and any area that you want.
Here is the formula :-
Room Area (feet square) x Factor (btu/hour/feet square) = Cooling Capacity (btu/hour)
Follow this simple steps
1. Calculate the room area. Room area is length (feet) multiply by width (feet) then the answer should be in feet square.
2. Factor is constant, this case is 50 btu/hour/feet square)
3. Multiply the room area and the factor.
4. The answer should be in btu/hour.
5. Convert the asnwer to horse power by devide 12000.
6. Now you can select your unit.
Useful conversions
1 meter = 3.281 feet
1 horse power = 12000 btu/hour
*NOTE THAT THE ADVANCE COOLING LOAD CALCULATION IS MORE COMPLICATED. IT USE LOT OF TABLE AND FORMULA. LATER ON, WE WILL SHARE THE ADVANCE COOLING LOAD CALCULATION. IS THERE ANY PROBLEM, JUST LEAVE US A COMMENT.
